CHEYENNE - The Capitol City is about to get another healthy alternative in the restaurant/cafe market with a new locally owned shop setting up in a space along Evans Avenue near the hospital!
A glance at the soon-to-be BlendZ
Located at the corner of Evans Avenue and East 21st Street, the building which contains the soon-to-be BlendZ Wellness Bar was built in 1923 according to the Laramie County Property Assessor map.

In recent years, it appears this space was mostly vacant. However in 2018, one can see in Google Maps street view that a place called National Multiple Sclerosis Society was in the space, and in 2021, a place called Young Again Adult Daycare was present in the space.

BlendZ Wellness Bar announces plans to open!
Earlier this year in May 2023, BlendZ Wellness Bar began posting to their Facebook page with plans to open at 2112 Evans Avenue, announcing a July opening.
They've posted menus that display Healthy Shakez, Protein Coffeez, Super Fruit Smoothiez, and Energy Teaz. They note in one of their posts that, "this is a sister shop to Bison Nutrition & Energy." Interestingly, BlendZ previously posted that they are looking for a yoga instructor interested in hosting a class once per month at their location.
Right now if you visit the Evans Avenue space, you'll notice that they already have signage up on the building. BlendZ mentioned in a comment on a recent Facebook post that they will be holding a grand opening around the start of Cheyenne Frontier Days (Saturday, July 22nd).

BlendZ Wellness Bar's sister shop, Bison Nutrition and Energy, currently has a location on Vandehei Avenue just east of I-25.
A newer post reveals that for the first day, they will open at 9 AM, and they are encouraging guests to visit after the parade.
Update 08/07 - BlendZ is open!
BlendZ has officially opened to the public! Their hours are currently (as of 08/07) as follows:
- Mon-Fri 7am-3pm
- Saturday 9am-3pm
They have many menu options including options from Foods with Benefits 307; you can find the menu boards seen in the restaurant below.
