Here's a touch on the history and where things are now. Glimpse at the history of Atlas Motel The Atlas Motel was located along W Lincolnway near the Hitching Post Inn and built in the 1920s; the Laramie County Property Assessor GIS map once noted that the buildings on the property had been built in approximately 1927 with the exception of a "Shed - Tool" that noted a build date of 1946. Decker Glass sign seen posted at the site of the former Buck's Auto Repair - Optopolis Decker Glass, a glass and window company servicing the Wyoming area, has been in the process of opening a physical location in Cheyenne, and it appears it'll be opening soon at the former Buck's Auto Repair! History of the Buck's Auto Repair building With only a glance at the old Buck's building, anyone can immediately tell it used to be a gas station, and this is 100% true. The Laramie County Property Assessor notes that the building was built in approximately 1959 with two "prefabricated storage sheds" built in 2000. A view of the building as Buck's Auto Repair (when vacant and after most cars were moved off the lot) - Optopolis Cheyenne City Directories throughout the years reveal some very interesting information about the location. In 1961, Persons Super Serv (a gas station) was noted as present in the building. Persons Super Serv would be listed at the location
