Foot of the Rockies' new space - Optopolis Surprise! Foot of the Rockies has relocated to a new location. And now, Carters/OshKosh [B'gosh] appears to be working on plans to come to Cheyenne! A look at the history of the old location Foot of the Rockies features some history of their store on their Employee Bio page within their website ; it states the following: Foot of the Rockies was established in 1976 by Joe Friel in Fort Collins, Colorado. Rick and Marlene Bishop franchised to the Cheyenne, Wyoming Foot of the Rockies on April 1, 1985 (no fooling). According to their salon finder page , there are currently no locations in the states of Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska. Signage on the Take 5 Oil Change building in Loveland, Colorado - Optopolis Many months ago, permits were submitted for a new Take 5 location here in Cheyenne, but the land referenced by the permits was not being touched... that is until now. What is Take 5? Based on their website, Take 5 appears to be an automotive company that focuses on both oil changes and car washes. Their about page proclaims quick, efficient service, stating, "We are not fans of wasting time. So we make sure you’re not using too much of yours getting your oil changed or car washed." So the story goes this space has pretty much always been some kind of pizza place. As far back as can be recalled here at Optopolis, there were at least two different pizza places at the Frontier Mall just within the last two decades. Dog Haus' signage's guts partially exposed - Optopolis Dog Haus is getting replaced... by you guessed it, Dog Haus! You'll soon once again be able to get burgers and dogs on the Sweet Hawaiian Rolls!
