Less than twenty four hours after discovering the brand new first trailer for GTA VI, it was discovered here at Optopolis that Downtown Cheyenne will be getting a new video game store in early 2024 called Game Masters!
Some history of the space
The building that Game Masters will occupy was built in (approximately) the year 1900 as noted in the Laramie County Property Assessor Website.

In recent years, the space has been occupied by a whole shlew of different businesses including Grandma's Attic, Crazy Haze, Donna's Consignment Boutique, Stroll Down Memory Lane (also seen photographed in the Laramie County Property Assessor), DFB Studios, Beds-R-Us, and Warehouse 201.
The most recent tenant of the space was Red Bison Home, a veteran-and-locally-owned store that sold all kinds of furniture and accessories. In years past, Red Bison Home was located in the Frontier Mall at the old Bath and Body Works space (which recently was replaced by a seasonal store called The Holiday Express).

They were relocating to this building on Central Avenue in early to mid 2019. In May 2023, they announced on their social media that they'd be having a closing sale with plans to close their store. It closed by late 2023 although their website is still live as of the time of writing.
Game Masters begins setting up shop.
Game Masters LLC was initially filed on November 13th, 2023 as noted on their page in the Wyoming Business Center website. By late November, they had already put up signage in the storefront of the former Red Bison Home indicating some quite interesting information.
For one thing, they advertise that you'll be able to, "buy, sell, trade, rent, and play." They also display the logos of the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo consoles in addition to the logos of popular games and game companies such as SEGA and Pokèmon.
Another Facebook post of theirs clarifies that there will be many board games available in-store that anybody can come and play for free.
Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA VI on Monday after the trailer was leaked as noted in an article from Yahoo Finance. This comes just over ten years after the initial release of GTA V on old gen consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360). It's worth mentioning that GTA VI will initially release on Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
With the release of the GTA VI trailer, Game Masters has said in their latest Facebook post (latest as of the time of writing) that they will be starting GTA VI pre-orders on March 1st, 2024, the opening day of the store, also mentioning plans of a midnight "Game Masters launch party."
