Kacee Lillie Boutique, a local store that offers clothing and accessories, just softly opened at the Frontier Mall across from Zumiez and Frontier Jewelers. The store plans to have a grand opening sometime next month!

Some history and about recent events

Kacee Lillie, owner of Kacee Lillie Boutique, recently received the keys to her new space at Frontier Mall. Kacee shared with Optopolis that when she started her business, it was primarily operated online and as a pop-up shop. She started her business in 2020 when she was thirteen years old, and now, as an eighteen-year-old, Kacee is expanding to a brick-and-mortar store front at Frontier Mall.

Kacee's new space was most recently occupied by Daky Native Treasures which closed in January 2025; Daky Native Treasures (which has occupied multiple spaces at Frontier Mall) typically operates in more of a seasonal fashion around Christmas time, but in 2024, the store remained open for the entire year, occupying what was a former Francesca's.

Although not every piece of the nitty gritty is known to Optopolis at this time, many of the previous tenants are known here at Optopolis. Prior to Francesca's, this space was occupied by Coin Play (an arcade, listed here in 2015), and before that, Taco John's (now located at the corner of Ridge Road and Dell Range Boulevard).

Back when the mall first opened in early 1981, the space was occupied by two tenants: Taco's Etc., located right on the corner, and Orange Julius directly across from what is present-day-occupied-by Zumiez. This is confirmed by a mall directly published in 1981 within the Wyoming State Tribune, and the two tenants can be seen in WTE press photos dated December 1994, courtesy of Wyoming State Archives.

Kacee Lillie Boutique softly opens mall location

On Saturday, February 8th, 2025, Kacee softly opened her new Frontier Mall store. Kacee told Optopolis that she still had products in the storage room that were yet to be stocked, hence is part of why the store may still seem a little under-stocked as of the time of the soft opening. However, some clothing and hats were already on display on the store floor.

For the first day/soft opening of her store, Saturday, February 8th, Kacee was holding a Valentines Day Party, during which visitors could get free hot cocoa or tea, as well as free manicures. This information could be seen advertised on a chalk board outside of Kacee's new space, seen on February 8th. Some Valentines Day-themed items could also be seen inside of the store.

Kacee mentioned that Colorstreet Stylist Victoria Verdi was also planning to join Kacee for the first day/soft opening, but Victoria wasn't able to be present due to a unexpected circumstances. However, several of Victoria's products were on display within the store the day of the soft opening.

The new Kacee Lillie Boutique currently includes products mainly intended for women (with some exceptions such has hats and caps), but Kacee indicated that she may branch out to other categories in the future as seen fit if there is the market to do so. She plans to have a grand opening in March, at which point she hopes and anticipates that she'll have the store's new sign installed on her storefront.

The Frontier Mall website indicates that, for the time being, the Kacee Lillie Boutique is currently open during mall hours except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kacee told Optopolis that, starting on February 18th, the store will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.
