Dutch Bros is officially opening to the public!

Today is the grand opening of Wyoming's first official Dutch Bros Coffee, located just west of the Pershing MarketPlace! They plan to open to the public at 5 AM. Drive Thru visitors are encouraged to use Atkin Street via College Drive; more information can be found below.
Previous events with Dutch Bros Coffee in Cheyenne
Dutch Bros Coffee was looking to open a location on Dell Range Boulevard, but plans for that location fell through, leaving many Cheyenne residents who like Dutch Bros disappointed. In June 2023, one could see a project item in the Cheyenne ArcGIS map named "Dutch Bros." It took some time, but finally in February 2024, construction was already starting on the Pershing Dutch Bros Coffee location!
On Thursday, May 19th, 2024, Dutch Bros had a soft opening where people
notified could go get a free size-small beverage. Inevitably, people shared about this in the Cheyenne community multiple times, and sure enough, a lot of drive thru traffic and walk-up patio visitors began visiting the restaurant.

There was a large volume of drive thru traffic during the soft opening. Dutch Bros temporarily placed cones to direct traffic to enter and exit the parking lot in a manner not overly common to Americans, likely in an effort to reduce the likelihood of a traffic jam.
Some visitors (at least three witnessed by Optopolis) seemed to initially be confused by the set up, but of those that Optopolis witnessed, all of the visitors figured it out and maneuvered to the correct lane. Even the double-lane ordering setup had been extended farther out into the lot, perhaps, in an effort to handle the sheer volume of vehicular traffic!

On Thursday May 20th, Dutch Bros wasn't open to the public, but around dinner time/rush hour, they were having a private party. The food truck called Ranch Eats (AKA Ranch Streets Rustic Cuisine) was set up for the private event.

Dutch Bros Wyoming posted to their social media that they'd be having their grand opening on Friday, March 21st, 2024. They open at 5 AM and close at 11 PM on Friday (more hours information is listed deeper in this article). Ranch Eats (who had their "Ranch Streets" food truck at the private party on Thursday) shared last night that Dutch Bros Coffee plans to serve $3 size-medium drinks all day long!

Drive thru and parking lot users will not be able to access Dutch Bros Coffee directly from East Pershing Boulevard to McCann Avenue; instead, Dutch Bros Wyoming shared to their Instagram story that visitors using their cars should use Atkin Street via North College Drive to then access the Dutch Bros drive thru.

As of the evening of Thursday, May 20th, the section of McCann Avenue between Dutch Bros Coffee and East Pershing Boulevard had already been closed. Detour signs are already posted to help direct traffic trying to access businesses and other places in the area, including Dutch Bros Coffee during their grand opening.
Dutch Bros Coffee has menus posted all over the place on their property, including several in the drive thru and two around the patio. However, you can also view their menu online. Although "coffee" is in their name, Dutch Bros Coffee does have other products available including shakes, smoothies, lemonade, iced tea, and sparkling soda in addition to a few snacks.

Dutch Bros Wyoming shared on their social media that their hours at the Cheyenne location are as follows:
- Sun - Thu: 5 AM to 10 PM
- Fri - Sat: 5 AM to 11 PM
If you ask them, many Cheyenne residents will say that Cheyenne is being overrun by coffee shops (or something to that effect), and perhaps for an individual person, that might be true--in that a single person may not visit every coffee shop in Cheyenne. However, that didn't stop what was easily over a hundred people from making a visit to the new Dutch Bros during their soft opening last Thursday afternoon, and there's likely to be even more visitors today since it is the grand opening of Cheyenne's Dutch Bros Coffee.
Cheyenne's Dutch Bros Coffee is located at 3715 East Pershing Boulevard at the corner of McCann Avenue.
