CHEYENNE - We Do Nail Salon and Spa, a new local nail salon, is setting up shop in a brand new building next to the former Dog Haus, and they are doing a giveaway to members of the Cheyenne Community Connections Facebook Group.
Recent events - WD Nails and Dirty Dough
Throughout the last few months, a brand new dual-tenant building has been in the process of being constructed next door to the old Dog Haus Biergarten in Pershing MarketPlace, located at the corner of Atkin Street and North College Drive. WD Nails will be taking the northernmost space, directly next door to the soon-to-be Cheba Hut.

There were plans for a cookie shop to open next door, but those plans appear to have been foiled; the space is already for lease, and the tenant is yet to be determined. The cookie shop, Dirty Dough Cookies, has told Optopolis that they still want to come to Cheyenne, but Optopolis doesn't yet know where Dirty Dough will open (it likely won't be in the Pershing MarketPlace). Cheyenne's nearest Dirty Dough is in Fort Collins.
With this new building, pedestrians will also now be able to access the Pershing Marketplace from Atkin Street on access-ways which are separated from motor vehicles. There appears to be one remaining out lot south of DazBog which is currently on the market for a future building.
WD Nails is nearly ready to open, plans giveaway
A new sign for WD Nails has already been installed above the space which will soon be occupied by this new, local nail salon. Back on April 22nd, writing could be seen in the window, stating "Free Nails," followed by a phone number; this text is no longer present, however.

Now, WD Nails is offering a free nails giveaway which will include 25 winners. WD Nails posted to the Cheyenne Community Connections Facebook Group that any members of the Facebook Group can enter the giveaway. Each of the 25 winners can get a free set of nails or pedicure. They tell members to do two things to enter the giveaway, quote:
- Like and share their Facebook page (be sure your post is set to "Public" so [they] can see it!).
- Send [We Do Nail Salon and Spa] a direct message with your name, phone number, and service you'd like (your information is safe with us), or simply comment on [their] group post.
You can also enter via the WDNails post on their Facebook page. The salon plans to announce the 25 winners LIVE on their Facebook page on Saturday, May 10th, telling entrants to make sure to tune in.

Their new storefront is located in Suite 1 at 3830 Atkin Street. Optopolis observed that nail salon fixtures were being set up inside of the space as of late April 2025, in addition to a brand new trash bin receptical just west of the building (or south of DazBog Coffee). Their website is called, "Cheyenne Best Nail Salon." Their Phone number is (307) 998-9998.
Optopolis has been told by the owner of the nail salon that she anticipates opening around mid-May 2025, or in approximately two weeks. EDIT 05/09: WD Nails has announced that they will be opening on May 15th.
Giveaway winners and grand opening announced!
The winners were announced during live stream from Duc Nguyen (a team member at WD Nails) which was held at about 8 PM MT on Saturday, May 10th, 2025. Winners were told to contact WD Nails to claim their prize, and winners need to let WD Nails know which service they would like; winners can contact via Facebook or their phone number, (307) 998-9998. WD Nails also attempted to contact all the winners; winners need to get in contact with WD Nails by Saturday, May 11th, otherwise their prize will be given to someone else.

In a recent Facebook Post from We Do Nail Salon and Spa posted on May 9th, the shop said that they will have a 50% credit back on all services from May 15th to May 22nd which can be used in future visits. Gift Cards are available now, and if you purchase a gift card on Saturday or Sunday, an extra 10% credit will be added to the gift card.
Update 05-14: The giveaway winners were posted to the WD Nails Facebook Page, and they are listed below (each followed by the last four digits of their phone number). WDNails warns to watch out for scammers asking for credit card or other very personal information through Facebook or Text Messages. If you've won, you should contact WD Nails at 307-998-9998 and let them know you are one of the winners as well as which service you'd like to get at no charge.
Update 05-14: Ribbon cutting planned, store hours
The owner of WD Nails has confirmed with Optopolis that the shop will be having a Ribbon Cutting at 9 AM on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, which is also the shop's first day open and the start of their grand opening. The shop won't officially open until 9:30 AM, however. EDIT 05-15: The ribbon wasn't cut until about 9:30 AM.
We Do Nail Salon's hours are posted to the front door, and the indicate that the shop will be open at the following times:
Monday to Friday at 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Saturday at 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Sunday at 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM
