Cheyenne's Retail Minute is a print "blog"/newsletter.
Cheyenne's Retail Minute is a print take of capturing retail happenings in and around Cheyenne, Wyoming. Optopolis launched Cheyenne's Retail Minute in January 2026 in an effort to explore beyond the internet. This comes at a time when the internet is starting to see some stutters in the way people use this technology.
This print newsletter is available at 20+ locations across Cheyenne and Downtown Cheyenne, including S Greeley Loaf N Jug, Cheyenne Depot Plaza, Twinkle Twinkle Little Store (both), and many others listed on the Retail Minute LinkTree page.
Release Timeline
Cheyenne's Retail Minute releases once per month, typically by or before the 23rd of the next month. The exact first date of availability will vary depending on the circumstances at hand and any circumstances not in Optopolis' control (such as adverse weather conditions). If you find yourself unable to get a copy at an in-person location, please consider joining the mailer's minute or full minute tiers on the Retail Minute Patreon Page, or grab individual copies from the Retail Minute section of the Optopolis Etsy Shop.
Retail Minute Lore
Although I officially tend to call this a "print newsletter" and, sometimes, a "print blog," others have found their own words to use to describe Retail Minute such as the "white magazine;" simply a, "zine;" or a, "paper." Retail Minute is a self-published journalistic outlet that is an extension off of the core of Optopolis and the Optopolis Blogspot page.
Some articles will eventually find their way to the Optopolis Blogspot page. In order for that to happen, the topic MUST be both written in the third person AND family-friendly (all ages). This means nothing in Draven's Stories can be reposted to here, and no smoke shops, liquor stores, or other 18+ or 21+ entities may be reposted. From there, Optopolis' discretion is the final line in the sand for whether an article gets republished to here. This is in an effort to maintain the standard you've come to expect from the Optopolis BlogSpot page. Currently, sponsored segments from the print segments also are not reposted to here.
