New laundromat soft-opens near Dell Range [Drop N Dash LLC]

CHEYENNE - A new, locally-owned laundromat called Drop N' Dash has opened along Stillwater Avenue near Frontier Mall. They offer self-service, "wash and fold" service, and pick up and delivery service for your laundry needs.

Recent events - The old Plato's Closet

Back in 2022, it was discussed here on Optopolis that Plato's Closet moved to a new location about three blocks north of Stillwater Avenue, leaving their old space next to Mongolian Grill vacant. The space was later subdivided for two separate tenants, one of which became New Western Tattoo. The other space remained vacant for a period of time, but then-soon-to-be Drop N' Dash eventually came into the picture, working to replace suite A (the easternmost space in the small plaza building).

Drop N' Dash had some unexpected bumps in the process of getting their new space prepared for washing laundry, but now after several months of working through the pipeline, their new storefront is finally open!

Drop N' Dash softly opens their doors

On March 31st, Drop N' Dash posted to their Facebook page that they'd be holding a soft opening on April 1st, 2025. The reduced washer prices period ended on April 15th. However, their recent Facebook posts indicate some interesting information that might be quite helpful for those needing laundromat services.

Their post states that this laundromat has ten-4X washers, two-3X washers, eight-6X washers, and four-8X washers; as well as six-8X dryers and twenty-four-4X dryers.

A post pinned to their Facebook page indicates that the washing machines typically range from $4.25 to $9.50; the 75lb dryers operate at $0.25 for every three minutes, and the 45lb stacked dryers operate at $0.25 for every six minutes. You can use the change machine to get coins, pay through the app, or pay at the counter. Card and cash are accepted.

The Drop N' Dash website indicates that they have three main services, as follows:

• Self-Service - You wash and dry your own laundry
• Wash and fold - The shop will handle washing and folding laundry.
  
• Pick Up & Delivery - The shop will pick up and deliver your laundry from your doorstep.

A separate Facebook posts further clarifies some of their services, as follows:

• Wash and Fold: $1.75 per pound
• Wash and Fluff (no fold): $1.10 per pound
• Delivery offered through Uber, both ways or one way.

Their posts also indicate that they are, "Offering all needed laundry supplies, snacks, and drinks for a fee. [The shop also includes] TV's, Wifi, and Comfortable Seating." Another post of theirs says that they have, "Ten new laundry carts, nothing wobbles."

The owner of the shop confirmed with Optopolis that the coffee bar is free of charge, unlike the other beverages offered at the laundromat which do come at a small cost. Drop N' Dash is anticipated to have a grand opening event at some point in the future. The Drop N' Dash website indicates that the laundromat is open everyday from 7 AM to 9 PM.
