A local Cheyenne establishment, Rubyjuice, has closed, and the store now displays signage indicating the business is for sale. Here's a glance at their history.
Some of the backstory of Rubyjuice and their space
Currently, the building where Rubyjuice previously resided is shown in the Laramie County Property Assessor to be part of the 17th & Central Executive Suites property; the property assessor notes that the building was built in (approximately) 1924.

Based on a photo from the LeClercq L Jones Photograph Collection, it does not appear any business occupied the space as of 1979, but Google Maps Street View confirms Rubyjuice was present since at least 2007. In fact, based on this Facebook post from Rubyjuice, posted in 2018, Rubyjuice has been open since around 2005 or sooner!
For those unfamiliar with Rubyjuice, their core focus and the thing they are known for is their healthier variants of beverages including smoothies and fruit juices. As the owner, Jay Harnish, mentioned in a YouTube video from WLMTV, they expanded their menu to include foods (including wraps), making Rubyjuice a fully functioning restaurant.
Also in the WLMTV YouTube video, Jay also noted that Rubyjuice was Peggy's idea. As noted in their Blogspot page from 2013, Rubyjuice used to be owned by both Jay and Peggy Harnish; in later years (including 2016), Peggy was listed as the only owner.
Rubyjuice was sold to new owners... twice apparently.
According to a Facebook post from 2019, Rubyjuice was sold to a new owner, Kathryn Child after Peggy Harnish decided to pursue other things in her life. By the start of 2023, however, things would start to take another turn for Rubyjuice.

In early 2023, Rubyjuice would be put out there again, looking for a new owner. According to members of the community, new owners took over the business around April, and it appears to be true that new owners took over based on this Facebook post from Stefan Mastromarino.
Rubyjuice closes and is for sale.
Rubyjuice's last Facebook post was shared on October 19th, 2023.
Upon visiting the area on November 19th, 2023, a sign in the window confirmed that Rubyjuice had indeed closed up shop. Several signs in the windows indicate that the business is for sale. One sign indicated that the "business [is] for sale or [the] space [is] for lease."

For anyone interested in owning Rubyjuice or the space, it appears there are two different phone numbers you may be able to call. The two of them that only mention the business being closed/for sale display the number 307-640-1946. The other one that mentions the space being for lease displays the number 307-421-9430.
