Barnes & Noble the night before the moving sale began - Optopolis Late in the day on Wednesday, March 30th, Barnes & Noble Cheyenne announced on their social media they were gonna have to relocate. Previously on March 31st, B&N officially began their moving sale with a planned last day of May 15th. Culver's on Dell Range Blvd - Optopolis In 2021, Culver's officially announced that it would be looking to open a new restaurant on East Lincolnway at what once was Poor Richards, a restaurant that offered many foods including steak and burgers. Poor Richards took over some other restaurant (which was built in 1967) when it opened at this location; PR closed around the start of 2020. The building was demolished in mid-June of 2021 for the soon-to-b

Blockbuster banner hangs on the Converse Ave side of the Blue FCU Branch/retail building - Optopolis Blue Federal Credit Union has announced that a Blockbuster Video is set to open at their headquarters where the Cole Shopping Center (which had a Blockbuster Video) once stood! History of Blockbuster as it relates to Cheyenne This part is serious. Although the exact year of Cheyenne's Blockbuster's opening isn't currently known here at Optopolis, it is known that Blockbuster opened their first Cheyenne store by the turn of the twenty first century, replacing some other small clothing/department store. Blockbuster closed sometime after the main company filed for Bankruptcy in September of 2010. Blockbuster sign hangs inside its abandoned space in the Cole Shopping Center, now demolished - Optopolis About nine years later in 2019, Blue Federal Credit Union had purchased the entire Cole Shopping Center with the intent of replacing the then-dilapidated-and-derelict buildings wit
