Spirit Halloween is expected to return once again for the 2026 Halloween season! It’ll be in the former Dillard’s West building at Frontier Mall, sharing the space with Appliance Factory Mattress Kingdom. The store is not yet open, but it’s anticipated that some form of temporary walls will built to separate the two businesses. This Spirit store is expected to only use the northwest exterior entry for public access.
Ever since sometime in 2023–around the time when Appliance Factory Mattress Kingdom opened their Cheyenne store–Appliance Factory has been looking to lease approximately half of their space to another tenant, and it appears Spirit Halloween may be the first tenant to jump on this opportunity. Previously, the excess space had been used as storage by Appliance Factory, yet for-lease signs were displayed in the windows of the NW exterior entry for a few years now. As of Sep. 11th, some Spirit Halloween banners had been newly-posted in the windows of the store.
To check if this Spirit location is open, visit the Spirit Halloween store locator by going to https://stores.spirithalloween.com/ then browsing for the Cheyenne, WY location. From there, you’ll find the month (when applicable) that the store is scheduled to open–and once it does open, the store hours. In the meantime, if a trip to Spirit Halloween needs to be made before this store opens, you can visit nearby locations in Fort Collins, Loveland, Scottsbluff, and others.

The regional manager for several Spirit Halloween stores including Cheyenne's publicly stated that the Cheyenne store plans to open on Wednesday September 30th. The store locater doesn't list an exact date but does confirm plans to open this month.
