Paul Paul’s Asian, Cajun & Soul, a locally-owned food truck, has been working towards opening a brick-and-mortar location, and now, they are planning to replace the Nay&Jays/Chick-Fil-A space at Frontier Mall, next door to Twinkle Twinkle Little Store. Frontier Mall’s website notes that Paul Paul’s offers, “Southern comfort, coastal flavor, and home style cooking.” Paul Paul’s menu includes many options including po-boys, blackened shrimp, chicken sandwiches, fries, burgers, and more. According to Frontier Mall, the new restaurant will also serve, “crispy fried chicken, mashed potatoes, biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, crawfish, [and] crab,” as well as breakfast options like bacon, eggs, hash browns, and sausage. Several individuals at Frontier Mall have mentioned to Optopolis how excited they are to see Paul Paul’s open! For those who aren’t aware, Paul Paul’s originally wanted to open along E 8th Ave, but things didn’t work out; Optopolis confirmed with Paul Paul’s at Superday last month that they never opened at that location.
