CHEYENNE - Rocket Snacks & Beyond Candy Shop has announced the grand opening of their new store at Frontier Mall, next to Planet Fitness, and it's scheduled to occur on Sunday, October 12th from 1 PM to 5 PM.
History and recent events
Back in August 2024, Rocket Snacks (owned by Deb and Ed Reynolds) opened a kiosk at Frontier mall which offered various freeze-dried snacks. Inspiration for Rocket Snacks came from Laura, a friend of Deb's, who also previously operated a business that offered freeze-dried snacks. Rocket Snacks even expanded to offer their products at multiple businesses throughout Cheyenne as well as at farmers markets and craft shows.

In early 2025, Deb and another friend of hers, Lori Chavez who operates Creator Created Create--together, the two started a new business called Friends Creative Studio which encompassed their own products in addition to products from various vendors.
Recently, Friends Creative Studio found that they had outgrown their old space, previously Samuel's Jewelers, and some things have changed. Going forward, Friends Creative Studio's new location (at the former Gymboree) is and will be owned entirely by Lori. The new Friends Creative Studio has already opened and recently celebrated its grand opening.

Most recently, this particular storefront next to Planet Fitness was occupied by First Class Painters. Long ago, many will remember a massage parlor used this space, and some may recall Pretzel Time at this location.
