CHEYENNE - Christian Brothers Automotive, a franchise automotive service that has locations across the USA, is in the process of building a new location along East Pershing Boulevard, west of North College Drive and north of Pershing Marketplace.
A glance at the history
The plot of land located at 3906 East Pershing Boulevard (and the lot next door at 3820 East Pershing) was most recently occupied by apparent-residential-looking buildings. As of the 1990 Cheyenne City Directory, individuals were named at the street address of this plot of land as well as the neighboring lot of land. At the time of writing, Optopolis doesn't currently know when these buildings were built.

As confirmed by photos and videos captured by Optopolis in 2020 between July and October, it was late 2020 when the residential buildings at this address were demolished. The land sat vacant for a while until recently when about half of the vacant land was blocked by a fence; before long, ground work began on the foundation of a new building.
Christian Brothers Automotive's apparent new location is coming soon!
Christian Brothers Automotive has locations across the USA including more than a dozen in Northern Colorado, and now, they are expanding to Cheyenne. Their shop locator doesn't display any locations in Wyoming, suggesting that Cheyenne's CB Automotive is likely their first location in the State of Wyoming.
Site plans found in the permits listed on the Cheyenne permits website indicate that the new Cheyenne CB Automotive will have nine bay doors, one of which is taller than the rest. The building is anticipated to take a similar appearance to the CB Automotive location on Firestone Boulevard in Longmont, Colorado (north of Firestone, Colorado); however in contrast, the Cheyenne/Pershing Boulevard location will have its bay doors facing toward the west, not the east.

At this time, additional details regarding this Christian Brothers location are not confirmed by Optopolis, but the shop is anticipated to use the address of 3906 East Pershing Boulevard. It's not clear what will come of the neighboring lot at 3820 East Pershing Boulevard, but as of early September 2025, it's still a vacant plot of land.
