LOVELAND - As of the afternoon of 2/6/2020, it has been officially confirmed that the Loveland Kmart on West Eisenhower Boulevard is closing. Currently, this is the nearest store to Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Word initially came in early this morning this Kmart would close, with reports of the Layaway being shut down, and by early after noon of February 6th, this Kmart was added to the slated list.

This Kmart will close by the end of April of 2020. It's getting harder and harder to find Kmarts anywhere in this part of the US, even the last Wyoming Kmart (in Jackson) is currently under liquidation status and seeing its final weeks. There are approximately 45 locations currently not officially under closure status, out of about 4000 Kmart locations in all of Kmart's history.
This closure is in addition to the Pueblo Kmart that closed last year at Christmas time, which was the only other Kmart location in Colorado still open at the time. This makes the Loveland Kmart the final Colorado store to close.
