First Education FCU breaks ground along S Greeley Hwy [Cheyenne's Retail Minute]

It was back in September 2025 when Optopolis first discovered early plans for a new branch of First Education Federal Credit Union along South Greeley Hwy, but it wasn’t until early this year when ground began to break on the site. Set to replace a former home, First Education Federal Credit Union is anticipated to open between Deluxe Laundry Service and Dollar General on South Greeley Hwy. As of the time of writing, it appears that the foundation is in place, and the building has just started to get built. According to the First Education FCU website, their new location is anticipated to open in early 2027. Currently, First Education Federal Credit Union has one location on West Carlson Street which neighbors Albertsons’ north location.
