Interaction Amusement Experience shutters their doors [Cheyenne's Retail Minute]

Interaction Amusement Experience, a locally-owned family fun center located at Frontier Mall, has made the difficult decision to close their doors. One significant goal of the arcade-like business (which opened in 2025) was to help bring people together in order to play various video games using modern hardware and consoles such as Nex Playground and the Meta Quest VR Headset. Classic, hands-on games like air hockey, bench soccer, and table-top board games were also available to play at Interaction AE. The business remained open for Cheyenne-area’s spring break, closing to the public for the final time on the evening of March 28th, although Mel was present for at least a couple days after closing in order to sell off and/or remove remaining fixtures. It’s not clear to Optopolis what’s next for the now-vacant storefront near Bomgaars.
