HealthWorks relocates to Downtown Cheyenne next to bus transfer station [Cheyenne's Retail Minute]

HealthWorks, a non-profit which offers primary medical care, mental and behavioral health services, and affordable prescriptions, recently moved to 506 W 17th St in Downtown Cheyenne; HealthWorks took over the old Downtown West building between Thomes Ave and O’Neil.

In front of their building, visitors can find the Cheyenne Transit Program (CTP) Bus Transfer Station, where, once per hour during normal route bus hours, all Cheyenne route buses stop at this location before then departing on the hour (:00).

Based on Optopolis’ research, the new HealthWorks facility softly opened on Mon., Jan. 12th to continue serving their patients; on Feb. 5th, the clinic held an open house and ribbon cutting to celebrate their new location.

HealthWorks tells Optopolis that they are, “hoping to have a [food] truck there several days a week consistently.” So far and on separate occasions, Optopolis observed Ranch Eats and Los 6 Hermanos each parked near the main entry at HealthWorks.

HealthWorks also has a drive thru/drive-up window at their pharmacy which can be accessed via Thomes Avenue, near the Cheyenne Public Safety Center.

According to the hours displayed on their front door at the time of writing, HealthWorks’ clinic hours are Monday to Friday at 7 AM to 6 PM, and their pharmacy hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
