The Cowboy Emporium opened in the Plains Hotel building in mid-2025. Owned by Michael Magill and his wife, Michelle, The Cowboy Emporium will relocate about two blocks west to the corner of W Lincolnway and Pioneer, 321 West Lincolnway. Their new space is currently undergoing a refresh.
An exact opening date isn't yet known; however, they plan to have a ribbon cutting on Feb. 28th. Michelle tells Optopolis that in addition to the ribbon cutting, The Cowboy Emporium will also be, "honoring our maker & artist of the year." The celebration is planned to start at 4 PM on February 28th.
